Dr. Robert Greenberg
The Effects of Chronic Stress and Anxiety
Stress affects our physical, mental, emotional, and behavioral health. According to WebMD, 75% - 90% of all doctor's office visits are for stress-related ailments and complaints. In April, Dr. Greenberg helped us recognize what stress is (the good and the bad) and how the effects of stress can be measured with non-evasive HRV (Heart Rate Variability) technology, joined by Vadim Paugatchev, world-renowned expert on HRV. Dr. Greenberg also discussed the dynamic role cortisol plays and how we can turn off the stress response and stress hormones and turn on the healing hormones and repair mechanism.
